I have no doubt that Jesse & Martin told you what you say, and that there are people with the qualifications and don't get hired. However, Jesse & Martin don't decide who gets hired; HR does. HR is where I got the information I posted, along with my own experience & the experience of at least three other drivers I encouraged to follow me here from Crete.

I will agree that a constant barrage of emails would probably be unwise, and recommend only the two I mentioned.

Another part of the hiring process, which SS mentioned, is the ability for HR to confirm your employment. This may be part of the issue with your friend that has a clean record who lives in the DFW area. If their employer is not responding to Poly's request in a timely manner the positions may be filled by the time his company does respond. Plus, could it be possible your friends record is not as clean as they claim. I'm not saying this is the case. Only that these are other factors that might be affecting their ability to get hired.

Be all that as it may, there are probably other factors involved in the hiring process that I have no clue about. I'm just very grateful my experience in getting hired went as well as it did.

Check with Bullhaulers Wife. I sent her several emails. I've been trying to get this issue fixed since my initial email at 12:37pm yesterday.

I wanted to answer questions I was asked on the forum and was above board as to why I created the brew account. I did not want to.

It is going to be a loooooong day across WY. They have high wind warnings across 80, had west bound closed between Laramie and Rawlins due to many accidents, had the stage 1 chain law up over sisters until the time I crossed the NE/WY line and every DOT camera I look at shows a snowy nasty road. Did I wake up in the movie Groundhog Day?

But it is a warm wind, melting all that snow we got last week. You have been around long enough to know why that stretch from laramie to rawlins is called the snow chi minh trail.

It has a new trip number so it needs a new trip sheet. The way Tony told me to do it is to final out your old trip like you normally do then show a pickup (P) on your new trip number at UPN with the start mileage the same as your other trips end mileage. When I haul a load of Poltex back to GP that is how I do it and have always gotten credit for the stop.

    jdrentzjr and againstthewind Thank this.
