The judges handbook for EEOC stated pay cannot be reduced below minimum wage for any reason... And pay can only take wizard for theft. Because you can't violate a federal law on pay, over a non-criminal act at work. that would be insane. Just imagine if we could just violate any federal laws because someone did something that is irritating but not a crime in any way. "but your honor, I was irritated, so I thought it would be ok for me to commit a felony"... That will go over real good in court.

The owner gets the profit when things are good, they take responsibility as a result. That's why they are required to have insurance. The driver doesn't, the owner does. It's the owners responsibility to find people who they trust. They can't just hire anybody and dump the expenses on them. Companies would just find ways to take all of your pay for no reason, we all know that.

But you should know anyways not to harm your truck. It's just bad for your reputation.

Can you bet sure of it? Many drivers go through their entire careers without facing these situations. There are also other drivers that will have their "smug little smiles" as they're taking responsibility for their own actions, whether that be paying for damage they caused, signing discipline forms, or getting terminated.

Your statement is based upon too many assumptions, it's just as likely a day wont come when that smug little smile of his/hers will be gone. You can't be sure of it.
