We have a lot of shower credits for Pilot/Flying J. I would give it for free if someone asks.

Agreed - 10 or 15 days expiration would help at times.

yeah that would be a bit better, I dont think TA/Petro showers even expire do they? I know I used a shower over a week ago at TA and didnt fuel up there in a long time.

I give my shower credits away, and for the most part it helps because there are times when I need a shower but don't have the credits I look at it like a pay it forward type of deal. Generally though it's usually to other drivers. Don't we all as drivers pay enough at truckstops, fuel, food, etc...

Yep, recently gave away a shower to a husband and wife who looked like they were living in their van. Both of them thanked me profusely for it. To me it goes back to being treated like you want to be treated and the shower didn't cost me a dime. Long ago I was broke down and sat in a pilot for 5 days and no one would give me a shower credit. I ended up getting a free shower at a cat house...I know how it feels to want a shower and no one offering to help.

Someone was kind to my husband. He never gets back to the TA before the week rolls over and the credits get deleted. So he was going to pay for one, and some other trucker said, "Hey, don''t pay for a shower. I've got plenty to spare. Have one on me." Forrest was drop-jawed. He's one to do this sort of thing, but he's never had someone do it for him. He gracefully accepted, and I was happy for him because it reinforced for him that, yes, there are other guys like him out there on the road...as is evidenced by this thread. So cool.

I have the app too but never noticed a 10day, I always see 5 and 7 day credits but not sure how each credit is decided.

My problem is that I dont like to go up asking other drivers which is why I paid for mine last night but its only the 2nd time in a year I have paid. Sometimes I only put 50-60 gallons in at a time even if the company gives me a fill up just so I rack extra showers for if they are needed. I get a fuel stop just about every single load for a fill up and my loads half the time are only 115 miles or so each way so I can rack up at least 2 a day most of the time.
