Your assuming though that all people are master negotiators. They aren't and others have no problem whatsoever purchasing a car within a two hour window and paying $500 bucks more than someone on Craigslist is selling at.
They also sell to people with excellent credit.
Do car haulers like Carmax?

To get into the latest "as the world turns" direction of this thread... carmax found the color we wanted, with the options we wanted, with s perfect carfax report and low miles that was a 1 owner car. They accepted our offer and beat my credit union in finance costs. I did this via internet and phone communications and never once had to stop into the store, though we did stop in once cause we were in the area. If we dont love the jeep we dont hsve to buy it. We wont lose a penny. Dont get me wrong I dont want to marry carmax. But I would date carmax cause they make it easy and I get everthing I want.

Well I can say this for CarMax....they at least care about the carriers that come in by having a place to actually park a semi and unload. More than I can say for most other dealers that I go to.

Don't believe everything on a CarFax, I've got a car in my trailer right now with a clean CarFax, yet half of the body line is missing on the RR door and it looks like it was painted be a 5 year old with a spray can, both mirrors are loose, the hood and fenders don't match up and the driver's floorboard had about a 6"x 10" hole rotted in it.

I haul for Carmax quite a bit and I like what I see as far as their quality control. They have strict standards as to what is allowed to be sold on their lots. Year, mileage and how clean overall it is. No branded titles etc. I do ALOT of customer transfers from one store to the other and from auctions and other dealers to Carmax. They also handle their own wholesale auctions of trade ins. I haul alot between Cincinnati, Dayton, both Columbus', Lexington, Louisville and Indianapolis. Only certain location hold the auctions and the trade ins from the other locations get moved to the locations that hold the wholesale auctions. I would guess that is what Showtyme is carrying. All the retail vehicles that I have hauled have been very clean and very nice.
Their customer service seems to be spot on also, I've seen them going out of their way on several occasions for customers. Their prices are sometimes a little high IMO but I'm a haggler when it comes to buying cars. LOL Good quality and good service! And treat their transporters very well....atleast me anyways!Ruthless, Green-eyed Lady and Dorsey Thank this. -

You may have noticed the joined date? Its almost a year before you joined.
Studied info on issues with the 8.3 ISC in the KW here. Researched potential problems with the Volvo D12 and Ultrashift before I bought the 780. I just don't always have much to ad to the discussion, so I have stayed under the radar.
Was asked by a couple of folks to start participating, particularly in the area of SmackDown on the morons who have been watching Shipping Wars and are coming on here asking about 5 cars behind their 7.3 Powerstrokes. Even Coop wouldn't have entertained THAT idea...LBZ Thanks this.
