I WISH I COULD.

But I drive too many miles each day with too little time off.
Just can't find the time for such matters.

And besides, I smell really good after a few weeks.
It just gets better and better, with each passing week.

 

Perhaps it helps get them out of a shippers or receivers office faster.

 

Don't go overboard with the hygiene! I just hose off at the fuel island while I'm fueling.

 

Does a a wet paper towel wipe under my armpits while brushing my teeth count?

 

I enjoy a good shower.

Baby shower that is.

Hygiene? I say hi to Gene when I see him . . .

 

I use pine scented tree air fresheners after about 3 weeks of not showering, it really is one the best combinations of fresh and fresher. .. .

 

Fixed, what I think he meant. Um no...

 

I tried to get a shower tonight.
Didn't work out like I'd hoped.

I go in to the J and get my shower ticket, then notice I am second in line with no showers available.
So I park it in the lounge to wait a few minutes.
As I'm waiting I see a guy going in to clean the showers, so I'm hoping it won't be too long.

Well, after about 15 minutes the driver ahead of me gets in. I continue to wait.
After more waiting I go and ask the guy when a shower might be ready, and he tells me the towels are in the dryer and it will be some time before they are dry.

I ask him, after watching him 'clean' 3 showers, if he used any cleaning products - because in all this time I had yet to see him go in or out of a shower room with anything but nothing except towels.
He pointed to the cart and told me that yes, the stuff was right there.
And when I mentioned that he had never even touched those things during his last three cleanings he grabbed the towel that was around his neck and said - 'I am using this, and it has the chemicals.'

I decided it was best to stay dirty for another day for, hopefully, a better shower experience.

 

well... so basically trucking will be alot like being deployed in the military.. noted.
