Picked up a odd long crate with it saying weighed 18xx pounds at a commercial dock. Wondered why a non descriptive fella was watching how the crate was loaded into the trailer.
Long story short. it was a 1991 Mustang LX 5.0 in more then a dozen pieces transit to the middle east. WTF LMAO
The guys on dock told me the gist of it. Fella would deliver parts /panels every few days and the dock guys would place the parts in the corner. about 2 weeks goes by and the shipper says crate it up. No motor / driveline
weird crap for a mustang.
EDIT: not a rant. really weird

Thursday backed into a regular dock. Something seemed odd, backed in anyway. Get the BOL signed and on my way. heard a big crash leaving. That weather protective thing outside the door made up of wood and canvas crashed down on the pavement. Of course I stop and thinking WTF. Head back into the shipper and tell them WTF just happened, The shipper sup comes out looking at my trailer. he say's it's a roll door, No crap im thinking.
Sup: That muther%%$##$#$ ahole before you had swing doors &*T^^%%^&%$$$.
Sup: Get outta here shaggy. We have cameras. I hope that F%%%%% loses his door for saying nothin.
Roll Door 1 Swing door 0.

Bahhh... winter is almost over... sorta. Looks like we are gonna be pulling triples here before not too long. Aside from me, who here is also stuck with pulling triples? The thing that drives me absolutely nuts with them is I can only go 55 MPH with them in my state. The worst part is, our "premium" pay is a whooping $.017/mile. That's right! Not even two cents! After a 350 mile round trip, it adds about $3 for our mileage. I heard FedEx gets an additional $.10 per mile!!

Never pulled a loaded triple. My state illegal. Hooked and tried for craps and giggles backing and pulling around ABF barn, No experience here to offer anything of value. Just another 28 foot wagon. delay 1-2 seconds making a turn

Never seen anyone back triples successfully. I used to be able to back doubles into the dock when I worked for Estes, took a while though. USF yards are too small to back doubles into the dock so I've probably lost my edge. I still back the front trailer with the dolly under the rear trailer only because I'm lazy. Sometimes it only takes me one try but other times it takes 10 or so and people get pissed off at me lol!

I can do the lead and the dolly but I usually lose patients fast so I don't do it often. As for a set I can back the, in a straight line if I'm feeling lazy and just wanting to back up into the empty line. One guy I know can can the set into a dock, I always tell him he's got too much time on his hands
