Andrus pays .30 a mile to experienced drivers. Wondering if you just pull names out of a hat.....

They don't pay anything. I called them and they wanted to hire me but I turned them done and laughed at them. For 12 years experience they told me .30 and a half. I hung up the phone. No way.

Xpress cargo inc out of Indianapolis pays you 87 cents pre mile loaded or empty in their lease purchase program. I live in Cali and most of my family runs with them as well. All loads are from Cali to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland. And those 87 cents are what you get to keep because your truck and gas which they do automatically in their escrow program comes from the $2.50 per mile they pay year round and it will increase but never go below that. My uncle is in that lease purchase for a year and he runs hard as a single hitting $300k gross and after expenses he had well over $100k in home take in and they give you a brand new truck. Mostly run t660s with some new t680s but you should look at them because they run you hard but it's pays off a lot because there pay is unbeatable. They run about 5000-6000 miles weekly single. Teams hit up to 7000-8000 mi weekly. All trucks come equipped with apu's and refridgerators. Most loads are produce out of Cali and Arizona, and dry high priority loads at times out of ohio. Including meat out of Iowa. Though I love there pay scale no matter what load, empty or loaded you always get 87 cents per mile.

It costs over $1 a mile to operate a truck- before profit. How on earth does .87 a mile work?

What type of assessorial pays does Andrus have; can't go by just milage pay. Milage pay doesn't mean squat unless there's decent assessorial pays.

Yep, I have a 10 gallon cowboy hat full of trucking company names and when someone asks a question, I close my eyes and pull a few names out.

Almost nothing. At the end of the day it's all milage pay. .30 a mile, which is what you're doing. Driving. Let's say you run 2500 miles that week. That's $750. Before taxes. For being on the road all week. Is that worth it??? Hell no. Not even close. For a rookie $750 might seem like great money. For a driver worth his salt, that shouldn't even motivate them to even look up the website.

Boy, the stinko meter went off on this one. Since when can a single driver do 5000-6000 miles a week driving solo and do it legally. I cannot wait for the answer on this one and I suppose pulling a reefer there is no dock time either at this company....
