@ACH1130, I've been eating it plain now and have found Coulotte and flat iron to be the best tasting grass fed beef for me. I use that himalayan salt and nothing else on mine. The wife and my daughter still need the sauces. The duck was really tasty plain. My blood sugar has gone from 98 fasting to 69 fasting since starting my all meat diet.

There is not a whole lot to running triples. Just way more crap to worry about when it comes to hooking. Extra air lines and pintle hook ect. You have to also deal with the trailer sway (crack of the whip effect). It is mostly about having a steady hand. As for turning, they track waaaaay better than rocky mountain doubles. I've never pulled turn pike doubles.

good luck with ABF! Keep us in the loop how things go for you!

    Local.

The Mirco Managing won't miss. If I was groomed by UPSF starting in LTL it would be a retirement company. ABF just clicked from my first rodeo, Still unsure what exactly made me leave.

I like p/d. The challenges etc.. HAHAA... The Area around here isn't difficult. I don't envy you going into NYC/Jersey etc.

OD / NEMF fired off a application earlier today. Estes is way to far for me ( 93 miles round trip ) leaving my options open.
Another is Non Union LTL with 2 warehouses under 50 trucks Ma and pa place been around since the 1940's. Starting experience is $24.62 with OT after 45 hours. Super nice equipment and full time.
Thanks RR. Might limit future post for a bit, Till things get back in the rhythm and everything transitions well.

I got my app in for ABF and talked to the manager there, he said he will call me back to schedule an interview, apparently they are super busy. We had a guy quit from AAA and go there just a couple of weeks ago.

Corresponding with my local TM and Arkansas( HR dept L.Pitts and then her boss ) My first rodeo was about a month till i was cleared and earned a paycheck the following friday. No joke, I had about 2-3 Interviews with the TM before he sent my packet off too Corporate HR. Then about 1 dozen emails from HR to myself. ABF digs deep for every job you had in 10 years. 6 years a cdl holder,Left me with 4 years with so many jobs and explanations. It was mind boggling. UPSF wasn't so demanding.

ABF definitely does their homework on a new hire. Great thing is. Everything is always documented. Think before you fire off a email to HR.

All sterling's should be gone this year. Buying 500 tractors this year. 400 Mack's and 100 Freightliners.

    Shaggy Thanks this.
