Hey everybody! Got a cellphone question. We get 17% discount with AT&T, but I have family plan, and am running about $300 a month with all the data we use. I'm looking at T-Mobile. Any suggestions? What about coverage in the boonies?
Thanks in advance! -
T-Mobile sucks outside the city. Also as of today no more employee discount on T-Mobile.. Your better to stick with att

That's why I stay at vzw. Best coverage available.

BJs in Uxbridge - can I really take a DOT break there?

Yep they have a TON of parking. You can either park outside the gate where there is some room, but if that fills up, you can park in the lanes inside the gate. Its been a long time since I've been up there, but I see no reason why they would have changed anything. Also have a nice driver lounge with restrooms (hell there is even a shower though I don't know if we could use it) and vending machines, tables, tv, etc. Ask the guard shack for some menus when you go through, there are several local places - pizza, chinese, etc. - that will deliver food right to your truck there if you want. I got ordered some pizza once, man it was GOOD.
Basically, they are THE example of a GOOD customer. If only they weren't in the Northeast, I would be there all the time. -
You can also park at the mcdonalds right down the road, not too much parking there though

Put off my transfer to Houston. I paid off a big big credit card with my move money and put another chunk down on my Xterra. $5400 and I'm debt free. I've decided to stay with SLC for a year total and then I'll reevaluate what I want to do and Where I might go. I spoke to 2 different bulk Drivers and they both said that Schneider has a bait and switch going on in Houston where they are telling experienced drivers that they will be paid .42 for going down there and they are being paid .38. I'm not packing up and moving if that is going to be the case. Once I get the Xterra paid off then I can decide what is best for me. My OC was in no way shape or form even being helpful in any with the move. So we'll see whats up by August when I have my year. Been so irritated that I have been avoiding the OC. But I got over 13,000 miles for March. I was happy about that.
Finally got on a scale for the first time since November..........gained 20 lbsHeaviest I have ever been. Bought a plug in fridge for the truck but the thing is garbage unless its already cold outside. Keeps my drinks right above luke warm. I ended up putting ice in it to cool everything. $100 for it and I used it like the $30 walmart cooler that is sitting in my car at the OC. But I bought a bunch of soups, low sodium. Some bread and PB&J. Still having problems giving up my diet sodas. I bought 2 cases of water with some of those MIO flavor drops. I dig them, theyre pretty good, but then I drink too much and I have stop every 2 hours LOL.
Got in trouble with a Sheriff a few weeks ago while on a restart in Kentucky. I went for a walk along a farm road to find interesting things to practice my photography on and someone called the Sheriff on me. Had to explain to him why I was walking miles away from the truckstop, taking pictures. He was nice enough after He checked my ID and We had chatted for a bit, but He was a real Grouch when He first Drove up in his truck. Had an interesting conversation with a Gent I met on the way back. Dude had a Pitbull and a pet turkey and was drunker than hell LOL! Showed me the Turkey and some cool little falls behind his property, and then I fell in the water. It was probably the funnest restart I have done so far, other than the 5 days I was stuck up in Portland and I rented a car and just drove around.
Decided I'm going to learn Spanish. Going to research that rosettastone stuff. I have heard it's pretty decent. Now I'll know if the Lumpers are talking smack, HA! LOL
After reading all the threads about you guys going the I/C route, I have been thinking about that alot. Maybe that one year lease would be a good thing for me to try and see if I would like it. I think I would, But I'm not a very good mechanic at all. I carry tools to tighten stuff down do very minor repairs. But half the time I fix something, I have no idea how I fixed, so I don't touch it again and hope it stays fixed LOL!
I just want to find something that I can be happy with and feel like I'm moving forward in life instead of running in circles getting nowhere.
