You can use that if you run out of hours, but you must park at the closest heaven, the good thing is that it doesn't use your hours so you can complete your 10-reset. No fuel bonus whats your mpg? I'm getting 7.3 thus far

So why don't you just go OTR. Local pay sucks and then you and I can spend quality time at a truck stop without thinking Ray is going to knock on the door :)

So far I'm only getting about 6.4. I have a truck without any alternate heating or cooling system. I have enough time on this load to run it at 60 so that should help.

The fact that you have more bills than income is NOT HEyl's problem, it is yours... You agreed to work for mileage pay, before you accepted the job... now you are envious that others are paid differently than you... But no where have you stated that those drivers paid by the hour are working 70 hours a week...

You even stated you only worked 4 days, and are complaining about your check... why did you not work 5 full days?

The pay is an issue in your mind, tells me YOU did not do your own research on what local entailed, what the pay was, and what the demands are.

Good luck with making demands after 2 weeks employment... You just may get to see what a boss in a right to work state can do.

pretty sad statement about truckers, that we all know what the statement P-lot means, but think about why it is a P-lot.

saw a prime example of it yesterday...Swift daycab stopped at one of the oasis' on the toll road around Chicago...on the exit ramp...and was standing on the highway side of the truck in full view of the highway doing his business. Not trying to shield himself between the cab and tandems or on the curb side where he had a frame to block the view. It would have been different if he had tried to find a parking spot then had to park on the other ramp, but he was too lazy to even check 1st.

First off I didn't work 5 days driving for Heyl because Monday was orientation. So technically I did work 5 days but didn't get paid for orientation that I can see.Yes I accepted mileage pay but didn't accept 200 or 300 miles a day sitting the rest of the time and working up to my almost full 14 hrs.The one hourly driver I talked with did tell me hes working as many hrs as I am so don't tell me what is happening because you bud have no clue.
