Glad to hear he's adjusting well to Poly. I've always felt similar about a company when it comes to the good and bad...
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

For all the Crete management that parooze these threads...I have some news for ya...as far as your reason for slowing your trucks to 62 for fuel mileage...I pulled a 30,000 lb load from GA to west of Houston, in a 68 mph Prostar getting 8.2 mpg...so there

it has been a good otr job but the loaner/ slip seating thing is somthin ive grown tired of(not just at poly) most loaners are newer than my truck,im not askn for a new truck i would just like mine fixed.i am just tired of moving my stuff,'ive done all i could to avoid it, ive went to the motel, even thought about flying home, problem is it still might not b done when i get back. i was warned of this coming in. its really my only issue but its a huge issue for me.

I can say that may stop the deal for me , I can put up with a lot of crap , but not slip seating .Poly needs to keeps their equipment in better shape.
I don't mind motels while broken down, but the hell with truck pongDinomite Thanks this. -
Brother I drove for Roehl and I can tell you this, Poly ain't no Roehl!!! The only slip seating done at Roehl was if you were a 7/7 driver or in some instances a 14/7 driver. Everyone else kept their same truck. You don't slip seat here but you have the option to use a loaner if you wish to keep rolling if your regular truck goes down. Me, I don't have a problem with switching trucks to keep rolling and the lord knows I did a bunch of it the first 6 months I was here. For the last several months I have gone without much of a problem which is nice but when #### happens I am going to keep rolling as it only takes an hour or so to move things over and for me that beats the hell out of sitting and waiting on my regular truck to get fixed. I am glad to have that option here.

roehl or any of the big companys, they are not a slip seat operation but sometimes it can end up that way, and as far as taking a loaner and keeping rolling ive talked to too many drivers who took a loaner and went out and broke down for up to 10 days who now refuse to take one,'its the chance u take i guess.gjcarr03 and LilRobWayne Thank this.
