If you're not afraid to make a second move at some point, look elsewhere, but still put the app in at Poly. Even if it takes a year (more or less) to get in, you'll still end up there if they like what you have to offer.

I do believe they are the same as every other Wally/Sams when it comes to the 1 hour limit

It took me 3 days from application to acceptance and planning for my on-sight visit. So it's timing, luck of the draw, and location, location, location

    Mev and gjcarr03 Thank this.

Guys, I always appreciate the constructive dialog here.

I think Im honestly feeling a little middle-age-crisis crapola. Tired of OTR....but generally satisfied with the way things are going at Crete at the moment (largely due to my current AM, which is subject to change without notice as we all know!), but struggling with the juggling of home time due to my wife's newly established commitment of babysitting her mom every other weekend, or when one of the other relatives isn't able. No doubt been feeling the tugs from several angles.

And quite frankly, I'm tired of change....yuk. But nothing is off the table...including becoming Amish.

Be safe you all...see you on the road.

at least the Amish don't have to be frustrated with dropped calls, major delays getting repairs at the dealership, computer crashes...sometimes I think the same, maybe the Amish have a less frustrating and less stressful life without technology...not easier, but less frustration and stress...

hang in there, we all may pick at one another here, but at the end of our 10 hours...we can pat one another on the back because we made it thru another day safe and sound.

    48Packard and LilRobWayne Thank this.

I agree. My husband was offered the position within a week or so of sending in his application! It's all based on if they need anyone from your area and of course your qualifications. :)

    Mev Thanks this.

    Wow , that's only a 245 mile per day average ($1296.00 gross @ .48 cpm)

Not good , like working two weeks to make one

    Its bound to turn around

When I checked in here in Bloomington MN, I saw a note on the wall (for the security, but in plain sight of everyone) that Star is now owned by Swift...which Star (blue or red) and when did this happen? I usually keep up with stuff, but I have missed a lot lately somehow.

I think he was talking about someone else's miles. But even so, that would have to include extra stops or hometime to be so short on miles.
