While I do agree the western part of the Dakotas are stunning, I found that the eastern half was beautiful in it's own right. Then again, I wasn't in SD very often, but I did live in Fargo for a while.

Sigh. I sent empty at 14:45 and there has only been silence since.
After a deposit and a phone call my check cashed.
Then I came up here near the Airport to get a 914# pallet not going very far.
Then it took 45 minutes to get two cartons at FMC for SDV.
Then I got paperwork at the SDV front office, cargo in Humble and delivered to Cargolux where it only took 45 minutes to lose a Hazmat 39 pounder.

Now A: He'll send go home buddy B: He'll send nothing C: Something I'll HATE.

I drove across New Mexico and Arizona recently. Nope. Would rather see Fargo than the endless sand.

Now ya got me wanting to take a drive through the Badlands again. I could spend every day driving through Custer, there's always something new to see there. I like taking the scenic byway 16A, the wooden tunnels are gorgeous. *Sigh*

Well... I don't know the Dakotas very well yet... and whatever I have seen, I can't remember much cause my memory is getting bad... :biggrin_2552:
But this part of my driving today in SD was nice... lots of ponds and little lakes there...

I took state roads and US highway all the way to KS... :biggrin_25519: and that was nice... for a change... never been there before. A few little towns, the roads were good, speed was 65 mph and 55 mph... and the weather was dry... Got really windy in KS and I am very light... But that's all right... No rain, no hail...
Will be tomorrow at co. terminal in OK for some minor repairs and then resume trip to receiver in TX.

Hey PETE... I saw a couple of those K&B trucks today in NE... :biggrin_25519: One was parked at the truck stop where I took my mandatory break... took a picture from behind...

Now I am at a service plaza in KS... gotta finish having my supper, brush my teeth and rush... errr.... go to bed... Will start driving at 5 am...
