thanks again for all the info, could you send me a PM on about what your making after fuel over there at mercer, that would tell me a lot.
ok i see, just trying to see what a dry van guy could make over there, im thinking about 2700 to 3500 weekly after fuel. is that in the ballpark?
hey it depends on the individual, but you also have to consider the miles ran to make thatm myself with the flats I rarely run over 2000 a week and do quite well
well i jumped onm a dedicated at mercer here what i get , 1.79 per mile to the truck 3 picks one drop one pick back and stat all over again .toltal miles is 1089 x 1.76 = 1920. twice one week is 3840 fuel is 3.25 a gal i get 7.5 so its 1.76 - .43 = 1.33 to the truck after fuel no dead head . in line for home also so i get 2 days home one week 3 days next. Not getting rich but am profitable. I did make some bad choices on loads from mercer before this out 5 weeks no money made, break downs, setting looking for right loads , So until i heal my wallet this is where i stay for now.
That fuel base number of 3.25 wont work Russell. Fuel fluctuates too often too much. We get us a good discount still but my fuel avg is 3.65. There are places that it costs down to 3.20 and others that won't even get you a discount. My fuel avg in my truck is calculated at 6.5 mpg. If I run more, great, if not then I still adjust to that 6.5
