Their average load length including deadhead is around 650. I knocked down 125,900 paid miles in my 11 months there. Most drivers claim to only get around 120k per year. No bonuses and very little extra pay. A lot of policies that rub drivers wrong. Good pay if you can deal with all the headaches.

I think thats advantage of hauling reefer, i drove for stevens and the average load length was 1300 miles. Im sitting in Pottsville, Pa had a preplan but was cancelled n didnt get another one wich is weird so now i have to wait for the dispatchers. Didnt realize my pre-loaded trailer out of Florida was a dedicated one, which is not supposed to leave the state (no wonder it was all beat up) im wondering if that has to do anything with losing my preplan :/

Camping at my Consignee in Hopkins, Minnesota. Deliver at 08:00 in the morning. Tentative plan after unloading is to pickup in Worthington, MN with a Canada bound load and relay it off in Minot, ND to one our Canadian drivers. It is a balmy 77° up here around Minneapolis and the low is supposedly gonna only be 57°. I was hoping for a little crisper temperature. Memorial Day warm up. That's when it usually becomes unbearable down home in Florida. Didn't mind it so much in my youth but can't tolerate it too well these days. 528.9 today.

I saw a s10 pick up leaving the yard today. It had a front windshield banner, cow killer. The truck was decorated like a cow, white and spots. I thought it was our cow killer, alas you were elsewhere.

Delivered this morning in Hopkins, Minnesota. Deadheaded down to Worthington, Minnesota and grabbed a preloaded destined for Calgary with an additional pickup in Saskatchewan. My task was to get it to the J in Fargo, ND. A Canadian driver supposed to take it from here. So far the other driver has not shown up and I requested an ETA on the other driver and got no response from dispatch. Not good. And it is too frigging hot up here in North Dakota tonight. Muggy too. I have been in a foul mood all day. Don't even know why. Being left hanging is the appropriate ending to a crappie day.

xl is being mushroomed, kept in the dark, and he is in a foul mood.... not surprising.... relays with no eta of the other truck, and no way to contact the other truck sucks...

After making the switch this morning around 06:30. I got a dispatch that is wrong on so many levels that it reminds me entirely too much of my Knight experience. Twice I have been exposed to weekend dispatch and TWICE I have been royally screwed by them. This time so bad that I will have to address it with the appropriate party. Absolutely no excuse on this one.
