Hi all,
I got my cdl last week and I have been looking at Prime as one of my best options for a company. I have some questions though.
1. How long is training, what does it pay, and how was your experience with it?
2. After training what is the pay?
3. What trucks do they run?
4. How hard do you run?
5. How is home time?
Thanks!

From the looks of past posts concerning Prime, it looks like Prime has both a thorough training program as well as a thorough screening program.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.! -
Prime allows their drivers to molest livestock. The loudest guy at the TA drivers seating section told me so.

Prime is a good company. Nice trucks. Safe trucks. I pass them all the time. I think that a Swift truck even passed one of them.
Years ago they had problems but it is my understanding that those have been handled. I think you will enjoy your time with them. I know you find Missouri to be the single greatest place you have ever visited. We don't have to have mountains or oceans to attract folks. Springfield does have some wonderful Chinese restaurants, never understood that. And if you get a chance, you and some of your fellow trainees, rent a car and drive down to Branson. Take in a good ole wholesome show at one of the many fine family theaters there. No one can fiddle like that do in Branson. -
Thanks everyone!
