Funny how some of you want the driver to rot in jail, but have no clue what really happened.

 

And if it had been Swift or FedEx and just some family.....we prolly wouldn't hear a thing about it.....

i think its because elogs are what the government has determined to MAKE SURE drivers get their rest and save 19 lives

if it wasnt for government mandating such stupidity, no one would care

so i have the same question, if this guy was on elogs, why was he tired?

I don't believe the driver dosed off... I'm not sure anyone could fall asleep driving around the state of New Jersey... The normal speed is what 90+? Its 100% a Wal-Mart truck not a contractor, no ones perfect even Wal-Mart drivers have bad days...

 

That means nothing. You can fall asleep on a roller coaster if you're tired enough. Been there, done that.
