This will be my last post on this thread unless RogerThat72 shows up but;as hard as it is to talk about a carrier in my hometown negatively-many do not like it there..Just sayin. It is better than some for sure-after you have some time in and know what's goin on maybe you will feel you can do better elsewhere.. Whatever. Do NOT go into this thinking it is your 'POT 'O GOLD' cause....most likely it's not... No...I have never worked there but-As it is my hometown (New Ulm) I do talk to them. Some do like it there but...most I talk too do not......

Gotcha that makes since, I like that idea. I'd rather have more weekly anyways. Thanks alot for all your help! You've been awesome. Well I'm excited and ready for a change mostly in my wallet but from the sound of this company it feels like I'll be treated fairly by the DMs aswell. I know I'm starting from the bottom again but I have no problem proving myself, I love to run run run! Lol more miles the better and I'm not a complainer, I think I've just had it with Roehl, I've been trying to stick it out but it's not cutting it anymore, do all the trucks have cameras? Deff not a deal breaker, I could careless if they wanna watch me drive a truck lol, if that's entertaining to them then I'm glad to help!

I know better than to be thinking it's my pot of gold, alls I'm looking for right now is to be making more than 400 a week, and being treated with respect comes along with that. I work to hard to be making so little, and every company has good and it has bad, nomatter what the co is. So there really is no pot of gold that I could ever chase, until maybe the day I own my own truck and trailer (which is my plan) if J&R can offer me better than what I'm doing currently then I'm happy.

Bumpy does raise a good point. First off, I miss roger that's posts as well, and sometimes the grass isn't always greener. They will be installing drive cams sometime this year, which I'm not crazy about. I signed up for this job for the solitude, and that's pretty much gone with a daggum camera. I don't mind working here, some do like it here and some don't. Every one has their own opinion. Sounds like you're enthusiastic about a change from Roehl, so yeah, give them a shot if they'll take you on. Just don't expect perfection because j&r does have it's imperfections lol

It's been that long. I figured I would give it some rest and see if someone or others came around posting here. So here I am haha! Anyways life's good at schugel got called in for my ticket on the lane violation. Nothing to bad just don't do it again and signed a paper. Heading home tomorrow with a load from NC to NY. Then dead head home. Seems to get me home they'll dead head me home from 130-65 miles away no problem. Miles have been 2,250-3,100 on refer side. Making anywhere from 750-975 per week.

Go go to refer because you'll get dry loads of they don't have a temp load in your area. Also if you have more questions post them. I think I'm going to start back up on my weekly posts after I come back from my home time. I average 6-875 mile loads. I run hard and my dispatcher knows I'm a good runner so I do get the 1,100-1,300 mile load here and there. Still haven't gone to California. Did go to Texas.

p.s court this Friday to see about the ticket hopefully get it thrown out. Anyways stay safe!

Good luck with court. And thanks for the info, I've read this whole thread and you seem to be happy there, and good to hear about them getting you home on time, Roehl was GREAT with that at first, now it seems to be a problem to get home on the day I request off 3 weeks in advance. I last talked with daisy on Thursday and she said that my app was going to be processed and I should hear back by Friday, I tried getting ahold if her but nothing. So maybe tomorrow (Monday) I've narrowed it down between them, and a much smaller company out of St. Louis which is also a reefer outfit. So I'm just going to think about both and make a decision by next week (if Roehl ever gets me home) nobody seems to know anything there.
