Hi NewNashGuy, that's not entirely true, I've said some stupid things, only because I didn't word it properly. To the OP, Cabwrecker says
"keep going", I strongly disagree, if you are tired, PULL OVER NOW!!! While many state patrol are cracking down on ramp parking,( so stupid, better I should fall asleep, Smokey?) If I was tired, and there was no sign on the ramp, I'd stop, as ANY nap is better than struggling.:biggrin_25518:

I have always used out of the way places to fuel and sleep. A little thought about is this or is this not a good place to catch a few will guide you there fine. Same as if a power nap helps you take it, don't worry bout what everybody else is doing or your clock. If I'm tired I sleep if not I hammer down till I can seems to work

    Don't stop in Cuervo, NM.
    It is CREEPY.

We heard tapping on the sleeper and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a wooly rhino.

Hi rank, That is pretty harsh, but if you read the comments, most of the people are on the trucker's side. I never could figure out, how on an exit ramp( or on ramp) that is dangerous. I can see on the shoulder of a highway where people are going 90 mph. The lawyers really ran with that case, and are probably building new offices and homes because of it.

I never park on shoulder, off or on ramps. The reason because it's your fault if someone hits you. Find a rest area, or truck stop. Usually for me I only power nap in the very early AM hours if running through the night. Hope this helps
