Haven't had a load under 1,000 miles in last week and a half. Due home Thursday coming up. That is all.

I dont drink rink or go to anywhere that I could get fired. Not saying I like a nice cold beer but there's to much liability and the chance of losing your license even if you have 1 or 3 beers on down time. So not sure about what tavern your talking about. If it's the strip club one then yes a driver told me it's like right around the corner but I don't go my job and my wife are very important to me. I can't not make him or other drivers not go but not me. I will have a beer or two or 10 when I'm on home time.
Lets see see last week 3,600 miles. This week 2,750 miles. Currently doing a restart not that I wanted to but basically forced because NC has freight but not much so if you come down here look to be getting a load out of butterball. Tried to see if I could get loaded early they said no appointment only. So I'll take this restart leave tomorrow at noon appointment is at 10pm. Get the recap of my hours back sleep and by the time they're done have all hours to run this 450 mile load to jersey. Due home for Thursday. Smallest amount of mile trip one like 3-4 months. They're just lining me up to get home so I understand. Stay safe! -

The camera may always be recording, but the camera only saves recordings when there is a critical event. It saves 8 seconds before the event, and 4 seconds after the event. And I know it's not saving all the recordings, I've had one in my truck for a few weeks and I've kept the sun visor over it for a couple days, I've been flipping it off and sticking my tongue at it, etc. (yes I know, I'm so mature) and no ones called me to say "hey move the sun visor, we can't see you"... I seriously forget the dang thing is there most of the time. It's not designed to spy on the driver, it's designed to capture an accident that may or may not have been caused by a car. And if you're a safe driver like I am, you will have nothing to worry about.
4mer trucker and ozzyway Thank this. -
The camera is located in middle of windshield so no way to cover it with visor...and how does it know to theres going to be a critical event and come on 8 secs before....if theres a accident its outside,,unless its in your drawers.........
-
The camera is always recording, but it deletes the footage at the end of the night to save room for the next day or footage. When the critical event happens (I.e. Braking too hard, taking a turn too fast, per se) it saves the footage of right before the critical event to see what caused it.

Here is a video demonstrating how the camera operates. The truck driver was at fault here due to his negligence. Notice below the outbound screen, there is a timer that displays how long the footage is. Eight seconds before the accident, 4 seconds after the accident.ozzyway Thanks this. -
Coming out of the house tomorrow. Getting all my clothes ready for another 3-4 weeks. Got a fridge and microwave. A real fridge not the Coleman cooler. At some point I'll get the inverter put in the truck, hopefully.
