CRST starting pay

Man you can do a lot better than CRST. The pay is way low. Way way low and you're treated like a prisoner.

 

What STARTING PAY?!!! You will be paying them! For a LONG TIME! RUN NOW!

 

1. Take above advice.
2. Buy running shoes.

If you want the actual number its .22 cpm. plus you owe them 7 grand and 8 months of your life. read above advice. accept above advice

 

You don't owe them anything if you complete your 8 month contract.

 

Now that is an actual answer to the question. I expected at least two pages of the standard "RUN AWAY" posts before an answer was given.

I would have to agree that they have a bad reputation, but I can't speak from personal experience. I have met a few CRST drivers and most aren't happy there. Like any company though there are some happy employees, but I have also met happy rodeo clowns and they get chased by angry bulls for a living.

 

It saddens me that you say you already have a start date for training yet you are asking what their start pay is only now. I say slow down get a notebook a pot if coffee and do some real research into all the training companies and know everything before making a commitment

 

Oh but you do. They're taking that out of your pay. Also you're being charged a much higher rate than someone like me who paid for school out of pocket. At least 3 grand more to be exact. Also, this isn't my personal experience. It's from one of my closest friends that went with them 7 months ago when I went to school on my own. Since then, I've watched him struggle and continuously be abused by this company. I've made more than double the money he's made so far and I'm home every day. He's been home 3 times. You think what you want though. You're entitled to your opinion. It's all good though he gets home time this week and we will kick it hard before he has to go back for finally his last 3 weeks.

 

7 Grand? Pretty much everywhere else charges you less than half that

22cpm? thats standard
