Good one.. Back in the day Newmark&Lewis had lift gate trailer's, was wondering did you ever see or use the big hand truck with what we called Landing Gear, second set of wheels that dropped down when you pulled the pin.

Some driver is outside my turn point. His 48 foot trailer is overweight. He is out there trying to slide the trailer tandems back. He is having a really hard time with it. He just called up a maintenance truck to "tighten" his brakes. Hmmm. Hope the mechanic brings a blowtorch as well. All of our 48' trailer tandems are welded in place. Maybe I should tell him something... But it is kinda fun to watch him struggle.

Bought a new queen size mattress a few weeks back. Wow, I been missing great sleep for years.
Hectic week ( started on sunday at some vendors ) to keep up with all the vendors pushing freight to be ahead of the upcoming holiday. Felt fine * thanks new mattress * :biggrin_25523:
85/90 degree very humid days is my rant

Wait you sleep on a mattress shaggy?

Pulled a Mark Stevens today. Did 20 stops and finished in 8.5 hours. Everything was within a square mile

come to the darkside RR. you know you want too. we can teach you to back some doubles and play nice with other carrier drivers and maybe your attitude can get you a free coffee from a vendor, Forget about the freight, your a people person. Labor doesn't exist, just tell yourself million times a day.

I can actually back a set now. Takes me a handful of pull-ups, but I got it. P&D in Montana would not be too bad. Most of our customers are pretty good and friendly folks. Once I max out on the pay scale, I might switch over.

EDIT: I will never ever deliver to another Walmart again. Just because they are used to treating their people like crap, doesn't mean they should treat me the same way.
