Sir; The day I chose to become a "professional" driver is the day I became a Non-Drinker, the day that my little 5 year- old daughter back in the (day) asked Daddy WHAT is that you are smoking (weed) is the day I Stopped being a POT-HEAD !! As I have matured as a man I
put away some of my "reckless" habits on something called PRINCIPALS !!!!!!!!!! :biggrin_25519:

sb677 and Wild Murphy Thank this.

But who are you to judge somebody that decides to throw down 1 LEGAL adult beverage with his meal after a long day.

I don't drink under dispatch period myself. Heck I hardly drink at all anymore but if I go to the local watering hole within walking distance of the truck stop to have a good burger and a driver orders a beer with his meal I'm dot have a problem with it. We all know the laws are there because of the one's who can't control themselves, but there are plenty of drivers out there who know how to stay within the law and drive sober

Now if that driver drinks that beer, walks back to his truck and gets on the road you bet your ### I'm calling him in

I am starting to worry about you, Wyldhorses. There is more to life than impersonating a truck driver LOL.

    Personally -

Home - Beer. More beer. Fill swimming pool with beer. Drink and swim. Rest. Repeat.

Truck. No beer. Work. Drive. Sleep. No beer. Rest. Repeat. Go home.

    (Return to top of page)

No - not even on a rare 34 reset.

    That's just me.

Why is "flipping burgers" always used as the alternative to truck driving?

Not everyone is uneducated and unskilled.

Your best bet is just to get yourself a motel room. I have all my favorite bars and cheap but nice motels to get some R&R.
