You want new or you ok with used? I just switched and bought used. I was given $80 per wheel and $100 per tire ( my tires had 241,000 miles on them.) I bought used wheels and tires ( Alcoa wheels and Michelin X one energy) $250 per wheel and $300 per tire. My out of pocket was under $1100. Cross Midwest in Kansas City Mo. They had plenty of them.

Have you checked in to an APU? Or even making youre own? A Mercer friend of mine just lost his truck (electrical fire) he has a gas generator and a roof top a/c/heater. Wants $1800 for it.

I have a tri pac. Its not perfect ( 12,000 hours on it) but it cuts my fuel cost significantly. Im a sissy, I need to be comfortable to sleep...

Bad Monkey, let me know how those tire socks work. Ive been looking in to them.

I loved my singles but I had a problem, I cut two sidewalls at a receiver they had some plates laying in the yard trucks drove over I kicked it up and cut two new tires $2,480 down the drain and they didn't pay after that I sold them but that's the only problem I had....I also have a spare wheel I'll sell if anyone wants a spare.

I am thinking about leasing to Mercer. I run hard and my monthly net(after all deductions, ins. etc.) is $8000 a month. Can I make this or more at Mercer. I haul dry vans now but am interested in doing flatbed. I have been driving over 20 years.

The only way you won't net 8k is if you don't want to, or are borderline retarded and like taking the cheapest load available.

I pick up my new truck next month and I ordered it with a brand new tripac. I had one on my last truck and had over 20k hours on it and really miss having it now. I hate idling but I hate being hot or cold more...
