Saw a Poly truck on PA61 heading north toward Pottsville around the noontime hour. I was in my Jeep so no CB to give a shout out, so if it WAS, perhaps, one of the board regulars, I say hello.

Very interesting place to pick up in Charlotte. If you guys ever go to community thrift there, make sure and bring an empty scale ticket. Also, you will move the loaded the trailer out back your empty trailer in. make sure and scale your load as soon as possible. I had 36,780 on my trailer tandems. Nice people, but ina very interesting part of town.

It's around $34 if you run the whole thing, IIRC

Well, my 2 flatbed loads were interesting. Both went to same outfit in Oklahoma, different cities but only about 25 miles apart. Had guys from both locations meet me and escort me to these out in sticks farms to be unloaded. Got back to GP yesterday from the second trip and got load this afternoon headed for Jacksonville, FL. Guessing I'll likely get a backhaul out of Quincy. Guess time will tell. Lol

I should be delivering this 1655 mile run tomorrow instead of Thursday(that's 1655 in 49 hours). As of 5 pm Tuesday, the broker still doesn't see an issue with it going in early...so I should be on the yard sometime Wednesday with a little over 3300 miles and I put myself on Thursdays board for a shorty load...whether it is in this truck after a service or in a loaner. I have to admit, I am not displeased with this version of Maxxforce, unlike the constant issues with my Crete Maxxforce, this one seems to be doing better...however...I need to watch myself. I went from Goodland, KS to Salina, KS in 3.5 hours...or an average of 67 mph...and that was the actual time used, not rounded off...and I am pulling 44k of powdered talc, can't complain about that, it's keeping pace with my old Cummins...except for fuel mileage...which is still in the toilet, but I will let management suggest taking it in for a look-see, I won't volunteer it for an extended stay at the dealer.

You might be out of luck on loaner. They didn't have any yesterday.

There was a guy yesterday under a load that was getting service. He got moved ahead of other trucks on the service but then he needed 4 tires and he was still waiting on that when I left.
