Brought my truck into Lincoln for B-service yesterday, had 45 minutes left on my 70 so seemed like good timing. They took it in about lunch time, got new drive tires and wheels (!) then they told me it had to go to Detroit Diesel in the morning for oil leaks. Kind of surprised about the wheels, at 490k I didn't think they would bother.

490k? Good...maybe I'll have mine a bit longer. I'm at 434k. Pat in Indy said they had a few trucks over 500k, and are concentrating on ridding themselves of the Internationals.,
Boo hoo.Onadetour Thanks this. -
Hoping to keep this one for a while, not many problems but when it does have trouble it's usually after it's been in the shop for something else.

That ain't nothing. Checked truck into Carlisle terminal with 7 different things said probably will be on road by Sunday. Trying to find a different truck. I have like 602k on mine. Oh and a random pee pee test today. Must saw repair list and thought I was high. Lol.

I seem to be back to consistently being preplanned while still under load.
(I probably just jinxed myself.) -
At the J in Winslow waiting for a repower so I can bobtail back to PHX and get this thing in the shop. I was coming up the hill on 17 yesterday when I got a brief check engine light... the truck stuttered a bit but then the light went out and I continued on to end my shift at the old Pilot next to the WM here in Winslow. I started the truck this morning and as soon as I got on the onramp to head on down the road the truck did its stutter thing again... and didn't stop for the couple of miles between there and the J at the next exit. Dispatch T-called the load here but won't let me leave until someone comes and gets it. I never knew a trailer full of potato chips (the cheap ones not the name brand stuff) was so valuble that they'd rather pay me layover than let me get to the shop.

Crappie works for USA now, that's why his truck has 620 thousand.
I'm not renewing my Hazmat next year , it ain't worth it, yesterday, I had to watch a video, put on long pants, wait for an escort to follow to the dock, hard hat, glasses and carry around a respirator that I would never put in my mouth. -
48Packard Thanks this.
