Would love to man, but I'm elbow deep in my engine right now. Got the head and pan off. Hoping to have the old pistons and liners out before dark. Found a crack on the bottom side of the exhaust manifold so looks like I got an excuse to give Pittsburgh power a call.
Got a new head here, gonna order a borg warner turbo Monday. And now will be getting the ported and polished manifold. Not sure about the bull gear. Never had any reason to suspect mine, but this engine is going to basically be new when I'm done. Maybe I should take the extra two days and put a new one in. I don't know.

I'd like to thank everyone who has posted here about Mercer Flightline, Skateboardman, Pound Puppy, Spyder and anyone I may have missed. This is the most informed I've ever been about a carrier prior to leasing on and I much appreciate all the good info. Looking forward to the cool aide!

    Pound Puppy Thanks this.

Holly cow.. I really hope you get running soon and that engine fix up wont break you.

Congratulations sir, wish you well in here. I've done great and love it, feel like I own the company lol

You just wanna lay on her all night sweet talking that rear sleeper wall lol..
I know I would, I told my wife I'm glad they wont get me approved for a new one like yours in black or she'd have to find herself a way to visit me every time I drive by the house haha. I'd never get out of the truck!

    Enjoy the cool aid.

Lucar, before I came to Mercer, I'd have never even considered doing anything but an after market inframe kit due to money concerns. But today? I Guess it says something about the better pay here that not only can I afford this rebuild, butnam not stressing it one bit. Obviously nobody likes dropping over 7 grand in parts in their truck, but it won't hurt us. And that's on top of the money I put in it in the last two months. Something in the neighborhood of four thousand. Rebushed her in the last week of June, and in July I spent a week in Louisville getting her ready for my annual inspection. New drums, shoes, an air bag. One air valve, and abs problems. The abs was the only expensive issue.

KSGunny, Lucar and kona911 Thank this.
