Driving companies that dont use DAC

In my experience I've worked for a company that was small and didn't use DAC for almost 3 years... When I made the mistake and left to see if the grass was greener on the other side ( Mega ) all they did was call the smaller company who didn't use DAC to verify I was employed for the dates I put on my application... After it was verified I was hired... And actually I dont believe they called I think they faxed them a little questioner asking about my employment dates and if I had any Positive drug results...

So IMO no it won't be looked at differently as the majority of Companies do not use the DAC system...

 

most SMART drivers. spend their whole life NEVER working for a company that uses dac. cuz when you leave for whatever reason. you very well could end up with the biggest mistake of your life on record. that never goes away.

 

In my own personal opinion, the companies that use DAC are the companies to stay away from. The majority of the large LTL companies, such as UPS Freight, FedEx Freight, Old Dominion and so on, they don't use DAC. I believe that you will find that the companies that use DAC are those who will "cut your throat".

Companies pay to belong to DAC or Hire Right and as I understand, companies that do not belong, do not send or get drivers information from them. In other words, Hire Right or DAC is like a "club", if you are a member, then you can send or receive information on drivers, if you are not a member, then you don't .

 

YOU POSTED YOUR COMPANY DOESNT US DAC SO WERE LOOKING TO CHECK THEM OUT FOR A CAREER IF YOU DIDNT WANT TO BE ASKED ABOUT IT YOU SHOULD NT HAVE SAID ANYTHING

 

Companies that confuse DAC doesn't mean they won't hire the service just to get back at a driver believe me I know.My exboss did just that.My lawyer got everything removed..I dont know what all he put on my DAC but he did it because I sued him.I knew he was always evil but also too cheap to pay for DAC.So don't ever trust your company because they will hire DAC just to get back at a driver.
