mercer transportation

flightline, spyder, and several others, wanted to pass this along to you guys. yesterday while loading with two other mercer guys, the bunch of us on this thread got paid a highest compliment. while waiting to get loaded , we were talking and the truckers report came up. and they both said the reason they came to mercer was because of what they had read on this forum, one guy has been there for over 2 years and the other for 6 months.

they mentioned your names specifically as helping them with things, such as load selection and fuel mileage gains, flightline the one guy had a w900 brick with a cat getting over 7mpg and showed the figures to prove it. you have helped him greatly.

when I mentioned I was "skateboardman" I thought I was going to have to sign autographs, lol. no, seriously . I just wanted to mention that what we say and do here has an impact. and it does affect peoples decisions, and at least these two guys think we helped them.

well anyway, on to Haverhill, mass.

 

you may not even know it, but you have somewhat of a following, a flightline cult if ya will. you need to come up with a list of truckstops you are gonna be at and do a tour

 

I've had my 04 MBN Cat flashed to a 6NZ and bumped to 600 HP. It will blow black smoke in between the gears till turbo catches up. Hope that's not a problem for Mercer. I'll be going to orientation in a week or so.

I'm joining Mercer in a few Months. Waiting for my new Pete to be built.. I have 2 friends at Mercer 1 with SD 1 with Mercer Flatbed.. They are and this forum are the reasons I'm quitting my 15 year Company job at Walmart Private fleet to come here.. I Need to learn a lot and I will.. Thanks for all the knowledge in picking up here.

If anything, I'm surprised they still put up with me consider how picky I get. I bet some agents don't like me either.

Has anyone heard the rumor, Mercer is gona start taking on hotshot trucks with gooseneck trailers?
I hope I'm not instagating a rumor.
Though I honestly heard this from a couple Mercer drivers.
Really how many of us run those LTL loads anyways.

 

hmmm, I can retire from the big one and put my dually to work.

 

the cool thing coming out of the stakes is flames.... expensive to setup but looks wild... propane bottle, hose, injection system (NOS ?) , and a spark of some sort.... don't forget to check the overhead
