Here's where I saw it. No mention of Grand Junction. When TA/Petro took over White's in Raphine VA, it stayed mostly White's. Not so much with Willy Nelson's joint down in Tejas though. They do mention expanding the cinnamon roll gig to the entire TA/Petro nation though. Hmmm....

Ohhhh nooooo... another one? this is starting to really suck... I love that truck stop... Met Santa Claus there and he gave me 2 free meals at restaurant.... And I had a wonderful dinner with a good friend of mine there... I will miss that place too... Wonder what there will be there next...

 

It appears from the newspaper article that they're trying to retain most of what is now Johnson's Corner and put it under the TA brand. We shall see, as you're fond of saying!

I'd stop there a lot more often if someone would just pave that dang parking lot. It seems like every visit comes with a $50 or so price tag... an impending visit to the wash rack to get the dust off my ride.

Yesterday I had to park at a rest area, which I didn't want because that t/s in Claysville, PA was closed...

This evening I am parked at shipper... Got here at 13:20 central time and they said the product wasn't totally ready... but sent me to dock... One hr later they told me to pull out of dock cause it would take longer to pull out the load and they needed to load other trucks...
I started getting nervous, watching my 14 hr disappearing... So, I asked them to let me take my 10 there but they said, "no..." They told me there's a diner place nearby where trucks park for free and a medium size truck stop about 10 miles away...
But, I thought, by the time they finish with me, I will be totally out of hrs and will not find any parking anywhere...
I checked some possible parking locations nearby... Walmart... But none seemed really good...
So, I called my dsp and told her about the delay and that I was considering leaving customer and coming back in the morning... she immediately shoot a msg to broker and while we were still on the phone, customer came to my door and told me that the boss said that as long as I don't idle, I can take my 10 here...

Yeah!!!! Thank you!!!

So... here I am...




after almost 5 hrs and they are still loading me... Will leave very early in the morning and avoid some traffic jam in this area... I am southeast of Harrisburg, PA and will be going to GA.
