We're like a bunch of Jews on here, we sit back and relax, never expecting it to happen to us, as all the people around us are rounded up and threw in the cattle car,

    Crete's motto should be:

Come to the dark side. All hail Lord CPAP :whax:

They make such a big deal on a load that "must be on time", what difference does it make if they'll take 7 hours to unload me anyway and not pay detention?
My miles have been better than I thought they would be on the Shaffer side but when BS like this happens I just wanna quit this reefer garbage.
It's inconsiderate of the driver. If they won't pay detention Shaffer should just pay me for my time and subtract it from the good rate they got on a BS load.
Even if they gave me $5 a hour for waiting forever I'd be grateful, just to show they haven't forgotten about me.
Then again I'm just a number here and not a person.

All my biotching but still my worst week here I've earned my than my very best week at my last trucking company.
Sooo maybe I really can't complain...

Over here at Poly we go to a lot of Targets, always live unload. They are, by far, the slowest unloading customer we deliver to. Which sucks, because they are usually part of a multi-stop load, which puts you behind on the stops after them. Although they will unload faster if you go in and assist. I guess if you're in there they can't take a break between each pallet.

I have gone into a Target (Topeka, to be specific) and have them tell me right at the gate, "This is a 10 hour unload, you can wait or come back". (All the while I am thinking, I don't EVER wanna come back here....)

That's ridiculous. Stuff like that just makes me wanna quit being a truck driver. There's no reason for that garbage, we have to be on time but they have complete disrespect and inconsideration for our time.

BTW I was at a Target DC in Ohio

What a great day, the surveyor called and I'm getting 10.15 acres, which means I can legally kill a deer without a license and the 400 mile preplan got cancelled. Seems I'm getting reloaded here going to Utah.
