I am going to start calling agents when it take too long to get dispatched. Tues I was on a load for 4 hours before they took it off of me. I had talked to the agent 2 hours earlier and ask him to let me know if it was good. He said he would and I never heard from him. I am trying to get a flatbed, but every time I call they don't have any available.

So apparently its my turn for a breakdown. I think I have a blown head gasket and a bed trans at the same time. I started noticing when I would start my engine friday that I would get a big puff of white smoke followed by some water vapor. At times when trying to start it it would stop turning over like it was hydro locked. And I am loosing coolant, but not gaining oil so at least its not contaminating the oil. I also have some mean vibrations and shaking from the drive line. I don't know if its the trans, u joint, or rear diff yet. I have an appointment with my mechanic in new paris,IN monday after I deliver my load in MI. I'm trying to stay positive, by saying it could be a lot worse. It could have happened right after I bought the truck or I could have had to be towed home. At least I could limp it home. So I am grateful for that.
I will wait till I get the estimate for the repair bill then decide what to do. I am tempted to just buy another truck, since I wanted to upgrade anyways(getting real sick of the small sleeper). Well goodnight gents, Rob out.

Rob I'm really sorry to hear that. Kinda been going through that process myself so I am naive as to what I could advice you. Best thing is to keep positive and have a back up plan so in case one doesn't work out then you won't sit and try to figure out the now what.
I'll keep us both in my prayers, I truly hope you'll make it home on that leg.

Sorry for your bad luck Rob.
A used truck can be tough on a guy trying to get ahead. Some trucks will bankrupt a guy before he has a chance.

Now the big qustion will be do you like or love the truck enough to fix it.

Well, I like but don't love the truck so I may just look at a few other trucks I found. We will see. I bought it cheap and it served me well for 10 months. I knew it could blow on me so I am not to upset. It served its purpose as a starter truck.

Head gaskets cheap fix it when you get the head off it will give you a good idea the condition of the motor if it don't look good fix and sale it it's worth more that way. But than again it may look good and put a new gasket and could never have to go back in it again don't count old girl out yet.

I've heard that a head gasket job on my ISX is not a cheap fix.
