Heard Pete's aren't really that big a step up in quality anymore, they all use the same parts. KW and Petes are both supposed to be tight inside, so I don't really care about either. I'm no expert on trucks, but I'd kill for an international with a cummin in it. That's what all the new Prostars will be, right? Pretty sure they shot the dude that made the Maxxforce engine. If they didn't, I'll volunteer...

International is shipping DEF equipped Maxxfarce engines now. Talked to a driver(from another company) in the Albuquerque International dealership last week who was in there with a '15 Maxxfarce Prostar....with engine problems (big shocker there). So it seems to be SOSDT (same old #### different toilet).

WHAT?!? I thought they realized those things are going to put them out of business! The cummins was amazing, they need to put those back in to everything. I can't afford to drive another MaxxFART engine...

the plain Maxxfarce w/o DEF was putting them out of business, they went to Cummins and worked a deal to figure out how to convert them to DEF engines...while they were redesigning them, they put DEF Cummins in there...now they are up to speed and building DEF engines, just like every one else.

Sitting at the Wally World in New Caney, TX now. On the way down here, I got my next load, from Missouri City, TX to Morristown, TN. It picks up tomorrow, but the best part is the shipper allows overnight parking, so I can go there tonight. I was kinda worried about where I was gonna park at 8 PM after I get outta here.

I saw a Shaffer blue Pete. Same lettering and such on the door. Don't think it was o/o because looked just like any standard Crete/Shaffer truck. If I hadn't noticed it was a Pete I would of thought it was just another of their trucks.

Crete and Indy did take good care of me, I got home this afternoon, will deliver 130 miles away Monday afternoon and I can shoot right back to the house for more time off.
Technically, I think if you go by home with a load it doesn't count as home time, but I'll be home 3 plus days.
I have 12 weeks of vacation saved up, so I told her if she needed to, to just mark it as a vacation (I'm on vacation every day anyways)

I'm trying to close on that land and the lawyer couldn't do it Friday, I hope we can do it Tuesday.

Worst part is, is Friday is National Talk Like A Pirate Day, I'll miss not being a pirate on the CB
