I just figured that it was his initials, thought that it was strange that she would refer to him by his initials.

LOL Skateboard, right? There's still slang I'm trying to learn. KWIM? (Know What I Mean)
Hubby just called a few minutes ago ... thinks we have an oil leak :biggrin_2553:

He had already decided to deadhead home (even though it's quite a distance) so that he can work on the EGR cooler himself instead of paying frtlnr to do it. So now we may have yet ANOTHER freakin issue with that (&(#$)#($ truck!

In 2012 it took 15k in repairs (for whole year)
In 2013 it took 10k in repairs (for second half of year)
And so far in 2014 we're up to 7.5k with plenty more coming.

I don't know if this is "normal" for people or not but dang, it's really getting frustrating. Do you guys spend this much? Am I expecting too much? Is this *normal*???

Repair budget depends alot on the age of the truck, type of truck and engine. Also depends alot on how much he does himself and how much is done on the road.
I spend 10-15K every year and I do almost all the work myself. But I also have an old 99 pete and I've very picky about every thing

Mecer has a reserve account set up for each driver which you decide how much of each check you want to go into it. And they never question we you ask for any of it.
15% will give you the 15K+ a year which works great for repairs and such.
And reserve money is easly put on TCH card or bank account. Most repair shops take TCH checks.

I've spent 40 thousand on my truck in 18 months, just the cost of doing business.
