Husband and wife team starting with R&L Carriers

Well I just woke up and we are an hr from Louisville to drop our pups and hook our next load going back. We get pups going back and 53 single going down. Meet driver says 9 times out of ten that's how it works. My wife had to go around a wreck in TN at mm 116 tonight. Detour wasn't long. There were 2 helicopters called in so it must of been bad. Our first day went well for the most part. Still learning the procedures and paperwork but think we will do well here.

 

We get Saturday and Sunday off! We lucked into it because I hear other teams here get them during work week. Very grateful to enjoy weekends like a normal person

 

First week is done and in the bag. Think we are gonna like it here. The Run is very tight. No time really to bring our trucker dog but they said we could if we wanted to. We get 2 full days off. Saturday and Sunday. Leave out again Monday 4 am. It's 6000 miles in 5 days. No time for sightseeing lol. Every one here is nice and very helpful.

 

My Terminal manager said it was ok but don't know if it's company wide or by terminal.

 

Well we recieved our first checks here at R+l. I the pay was 317 per trip as stated. For 4 days ran it paid 1298 gross to each of us. We had to go 30 miles further a couple days to Meet the Dallas driver. We also got 90 dollars for 5 hr orientation. Total was 1388 each. So this week we should both gross 1600 for the full 5 days. Liking it so far for sure. Would recommend to any one wanting to team
