At 6:42 Roland texted two things. Pick up documents at W. Alabama just outside of downtown. And deliver at Agility. And get two pieces at Gaffney Krose for SDV.
Then he calls and says we have a 1500# pick up somewhere and a 4 pallet pick up at General Work Products. Then a bit later he changed it to get 12 drums at Palmer Warehouse going to Baytown and the 4 pallets going to Port Arthur.
Was going to get the drums first before they closed for lunch. But he said do General Work Products first because they needed the space. So waited and ate lunch at Palmer.
Much later I find out they wanted me in Port Arthur at 3:45.
They actually got me at 4:30. Got back to the truck stop at 7:00 to drop.
Stopped for milk on the way home because the Montero is down for a battery and I might need fuel money Friday.
Going eyelid inspecting shortly. -

Roland told me yesterday that he is offering me these good paying loads because I'm his most dependable driver. What that really means is I never flat refuse to do anything unlike many of my fellow drivers who don't answer the phone and such.
Frankly I can't afford to miss any work. And I don't understand those who aren't in the same boat!
The problem with two good paying loads yesterday is that I usually get fuel every other day.
Next fuel buy SHOULD be Friday. But tugging that decidedly un-slick load to Port Arthur used up my Wednesday and Thursday fuel. I get my last cash fuel out of my pocket today.
And that is why the Montero doesn't yet have a battery. -
Done in Shiner headed for the bottom..

Out of bed and headed for Dekalb Texas. I am ready to see some familiar territory. I been to Shreveport sale barn and a fertilizer place by it with this hopper but this is definetly not what I am used to. Guess I might as well get used to it.
