Yeah, maybe even a potato, they got a great website, a girl ate 2 dinners real quick a while back.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

tucker and againstthewind Thank this. -
Truck got done yesterday just before quitting time. Put myself on the board for a load as early as they could get. Ended up getting offered quite a selection, but nothing that I could get delivered and get back to GP by Sunday. I ended up choosing a Loveland, CO run.
It took the International guy about 5 minutes to diagnose my throttle position sensor and 15 minutes to fix it...In fact it took longer to go get the part than it took to install. He said the DPF problem didn't throw a code so...since it cured itself after the 3rd try, he said there isn't anything wrong with it...then told Mike in the shop that I was confused about how to do a parked regen... I had to explain to Mike that I did it like it should be done all 3 times...it just didn't clear the request for a regen on the 1st 2 tries...and I also made the comment that if there wasn't anything wrong, why did I have to do a parked regen in the 1st place. It refused to do a passive regen while driving, that right there should be a red flag that something is amiss. I've been in a Maxxfarce POS off and on for 250k miles, that's the 1st parked regen I have ever had to do. -
It's not that hard to do a parked regen ( I guess if you are partially mentally retarded ) you may be "confused"
The blame game..gotta love it -
Strange..... got my frieghtliner back yesterday and it also made me do a forced regen on the way t o Laredo. ....

Don't miss the meeting that Poly is having in the near future.
Ive been told if you duck out or dodge it , it's gonna cost you 1 Point.
But if you can't get there because you are on a run 1200 miles
away you may get cut some slack. 😊 -

Well, one of the things I like about Poly is the advanced knowledge of loads. I am headed to Loveland, on the trip sheet it had CO-WY-3, so I guessed a Green River load was in my future. I don't deliver until Friday, but at 9 a.m. Thursday morning I get my back haul info, and sure enough...Green River to Sand Springs, OK for early Monday and they said too far to roll back. So, since it's a 5 a.m. delivery on Monday, I guess I should hope for a Friday call from out bound on an OK-to-TX load to pick up.
And this is what I call a SERIOUSLY heavy haul....notice there are 3...yes 3 push trucks for this sucker...and each side's axle has 4 tires...that makes this a 104 wheel trailer!
This officially sucks...Johnson's Corner here in CO sold out...at least everything but the restaurant/deli...everyone on the fuel and convenient store side is wearing Petro uniforms...I guess they couldn't afford the upgrades to the equipment needed for the new trucks (as in DEF at the pump) so they sold out to Petro...Corporate America can put another notch in their money clip at the cost of another independently owned business(and the assist goes to Uncle Sam's EPA and their emissions regulations, which don't seem to apply to industries subsidized by them...aka the rail industry. I don't see 100 gallon DEF tanks next to the 1000 gallon diesel tanks on a loco)Last edited: Oct 23, 2014
