Union city... Sounds like another lovely kraft load to me. Tallied up 2778 miles for last week, not too shabby. Drop and hooked at Walmart here in gas city, Indiana tonight, and picking up a preloaded trailer tomorrow 89 miles away. Delivers in Minnesota Wednesday anytime between noon and 4 pm, which will give me 1210 miles already for the week. Hope I'm not jinxing myself here lol

    The Challenger Thanks this.

Ok, so I got that one from kraft to Florida on this check so I think I'll gross 1,475 for Thursdays check. Resting now for the night. 180 left of the 1,075. Pre planned for a load out of Saputo( Newington, CT) to Lancaster, PA 109 dead head 271 loaded 380 miles so were sitting about the same give or take early in the week for next weeks pay check. I go home in 6-7 days for a week. Wonder what or where I'll go after that load that delivers to MBM Thursday @ 14:00. Not sure if my dispatcher is sick, or out. Was dealing with Tim and this pre plan was sent over from the one I refused to do what she said that one time.

Broc is taking over for two dispatchers. I know one of them is Matt, and the other is a female, but I'm not sure who that was. Got it in the Qualcomm last night.

Oh really? Travis is my assigned dispatcher. I haven't had a chance to work with him since I've been out in a truck with someone else learning how to back all over again since I failed the backing test during orientation.

    I test again this morning.

How is Travis as a dispatcher?

I've heard people say he's "new" or "good luck." I will say he is quiet on the phone, and I've never ever ever raised my voice or been mad at him. I take what's given to me and deal with it and he'll repay you. Except that one time another dispatcher had me drive 120 miles to my next load only to try and cancel it on me and have me drive 165 miles back and into NH for another one. I said no and I've never had a problem. I do think since he is new people do that or try to get the loads he has for other people. At least that's how I felt about that situation so I stood my ground because when I called him he had no idea about it. Personally I haven't had one problem with him. I run hard and to be honest my on time has to be like 90 somthing percent. I've had some and when I say some, I mean very few loads late only because at one point I think the CSR was being delusional and not realizing what he was trying to have done under e-logs. Other then that I've had him give me nothing but loads that require critical on times and any where from 7-2,200 mile loads consistently. Yes, you do get the 4-5 hundred mile loads but it happens and then next I'll get 5 loads 7-2,200 again. I think the CSR plans for him, gives him what's left from the goodie two shoes, brown nosers, and lease guys, and then he hands out what is left over. I've had him tell me this load is for you because your a good runner and I know you can do it. So basically what I'm saying is if you work hard, get the miles done, and show you can make appointments on a very consistent basis you'll get good miles all the time.

Yes sir. I always go home for holidays. I strongly believe that family comes before anything else, especially work. I'd rather spend the holidays with them instead of alone, 7 states away at some cesspool of a truck stop.

I am on the way home now actually. Just swapped a load with another driver here in Illinois, he gave me a load heading back to NJ. It doesn't deliver until Wednesday, so I'll probably go home Monday then finish the load Wednesday. The consignee is only 56 miles from the house, so we shall see.

####, I put in for home time November 6th for the 25th. I was like 100 miles from home on wed thought they might send me home early. Then I got a load to allentown from CT, thought they might keep me close. Then I got a kraft load from there to aurora, Illinois. Thought ok, I'll get somthing heading back. Then I got a load to Northfield, MN(Wrigleys) to MBM for tomorrow at 21:00 delivery. Called today, I guess my load is a pre plan kraft load from new ulm all the way back to allentown due there for wed @ 23:00 drop and hook. I'll bust ### and make it probably 15 hours early. If they don't dead head me home 253 miles to the house I'm going to be so pissed, or atleast do a swap of some sort. My days might be numbered here. I don't play with non sense like that....to be continued.
