Yea, no way my truck will ever break down as much as my old contractors truck. After the breakdown in Billings, I was done.
I haven't been here because I quit in May, but am looking forward to my own truck.

My total breakdown time was nearly a month on the road. I made 37k that year including maybe a month and a half for home time. I can easily make it at Mercer with my own truck.

Just finishing up 2014 and the month of Dec with my last load out of houston going to CT for 2.06 a mile.

this has been another productive month for me as the past I've been here with the only difference of having to tarp more often due to road salt.
I can testify that mercer is a better compay now to me than any others I had been at before.
My gross this month is well over $20k.
    my runs were:

Houston to MI, to OH to PA to OR, deadhead to WA to MN to VA deadhead to NC to KY to houston.

if you can't plan your trips and/or if you don't work hard in example tarp, load heavy, go here or there, then you shrink yourself of income, specially if you need some one to hold your hand or your coordinator to move you.

    Happy new year to all.

    Loke and kona911 Thank this.

Point very well taken. You aren't going to set the world on fire every week here at Mercer. Just pay your bills and save I mean really save don't be in the chrome shops buying stuff or eating out every day etc. you'll be really surprised in how long you money will go in these slow times. I've been home for 2 weeks and I still have $5,500 on my Efs card. I can make truck payments house bills etc. and it's true learn to work that load broad for example I'm in Maryland if MD has cheap freight and I need to get my week going I'll look on the broad and see that 3.13 cpm oversize tarp 10ft load that no one wants out of VA. Beach,va going to Houston im on it don't be afraid to dead head if it works and don't be afraid to ask for some money on the deadhead you'll be surprised some of these shippers will kick in a few more dollars. All they can say is no right. You got to be a go getter here at Mercer or you will fail and stand up to that coordinator be strong remember they work for you and it's your truck.

    Loke Thanks this.

There is 1 very noticeable difference just from the test drive and starting the engine checking everything... The truck almost starts instantly as soon as the key is turned it's amazing the difference. Idle is completely smooth. I'll let you know if there's any mpg improvement not sure if my truck will see 1 or not having the DD15 I got it more for the maintenance benefits

yeah I have a DD15 also. I've only ran into a few with 15s that have it installed so the jury is still out on MPG. And I'm holding off until I either get an in frame this spring or a new truck.
