Im pretty sure you will find that they really don't hurt much. But it is a learning curve like most things.

So I just got a call from contractor relations. TBH I had forgotten that they even existed. Now I've received similar calls at other companies but this one felt a little different. Not sure I can explain it but it wasn't "what can I do to make you feel better" more "what can we do to make things better?" I'm sure most won't understand what I'm trying to say but I think it's things like that that make it feel more like a family here then a job. IDK maybe I've been drinking too much of the KOOLAID but whatever it is, I want more.
Oh and for the first time ever I didn't really have any suggestions on how life at Mercer could be improved. I really need to stop drinking this stuff. -

The system Mercer uses is that sensitive? The last elog system I used would let me drive up to two miles under 25 MPH before it switched me to the drive line and then if you stop and switch it back in under three minutes it wouldn't register it on the log. Three minutes was the minimum it would log. Those little facts have come in handy more times than I could count. I would go on duty as soon as I pulled into a truckstop. Fuel on duty then switch over and park without logging more time. It has allowed me to park outside a receiver then deliver the next morning without digging into my 11/14 unit I leave the receiver. Does the mercer system log it if it's less than a minute or so?
