OK, so I guess I needed to be reminded why I hate the northeast so much.

Show up for a preload that was supposed to be available midnight last night. Show up and of course it isn't ready for AT LEAST another 4 hours. However, there is an exact same load of pallets going to the exact same place with a different pickup number that's already loaded. For some reason this place decides to load 9616 before 9615. Whatever. it's C&S so what should you expect? Call in and try to get the other load that's already done but it's assigned to someone else so no can do.

So let me get this straight. The other Schneider driver, that probably won't even show up for another 4-5 hours, gets the load that's already done, while the driver that's here already has to wait 4 hours while a loaded trailer that I'm just staring at is ready to go. They can't reassign pick up numbers. This mental midget #### is going to screw up my entire weekend now. Thanks Schneider for being so inflexible and not wanted to put a few seconds of extra work on your desk.

Saw something interesting on my paycheck this week. Head scratcher for sure. Said Award Prize $20.00 hmm what's that. Call dbl they have no clue. Passes me to payroll after 3 minutes of options I get payroll. She says its from the $20 gift card I got from target dedicated at Christmas. Had to b added to pay check so I could pay taxes on it. Really pay taxes on a gift card. They're just insane.

So the other driver hasn't shown up yet to pick up the other load and now I've decided to take yet another 10 hour break today lol. Ended up having everything but my next 2 loads pulled so now I ended up booking something that pays at least somewhat decent back to IN (1.22/mile is as good as it gets, especially for a weekend in NJ since the load board already got picked away at now that it's the last second).

This #### is seriously so retarded that they make someone wait for a trailer being loaded when there is the exact same loaded trailer sitting here assigned a different load but they can't/won't make the adjustment.

Have you try switching loads before? Beside this situation.

I pulled into a customer for a preload and I saw another schneider driver messing with the trailer I'm suppose to pick up. I parked and went inside. The other driver was inside talking to dispatch giving them MY trailer number. Shipper see me and I gave her my pickup number. She look at the other driver and said "sorry this driver is picking up this trailer" he got mad and left. Apparently he didn't want to wait to get loaded and try to switch loads.

IRS is pretty hard-core on the gift card thing - they regard it the same as if the company gave you cash. I used to work for a company where we gave out gift cards all the time as a quick and easy incentive. The IRS issued a ruling around ten years ago that they were considered cash compensation. Voila! Gift cards went away as it was too much of a hassle to get the taxes processed. Yep - the government is saving us from ourselves yet again....

LOL, I'm done with these CHEP loads. This is now 4 straight CHEP loads that have had issues. 5 hour wait at C&S in Hatfield MA on Wednesday, another 6 1/2 hour wait at the same place on Thursday, showed up at Costco in monroe NJ and the guardshack was giving me crap because they are clueless telling me they aren't releasing the load, then after talking with operations for a while and then talking to the guard again she tells me to check with the fleet office (an hour later after dicking around forever). The fleet office released the trailer almost immediately then and they were really helpful. Now made it to C&S in Bethlehem, PA after running DFO hours tonight and the load isn't ready and who knows if it will be ready when I finish up a 10 hour break.

Every other load out of New England pays $1/mile, these loads pay 1.71. Now I know why they pay that much lol. I would like to point out that Costco CHEP loads have their act together, that was just a stupid and clueless security guard. C&S, on the other hand, totally blows (preaching to the choir).
