I think he means they're bad, but not bad enough for new drivers but bad for new drivers with a few days experience but not enough for swift but enough for usa truck.
I think I'm missing something -
if you need some experience its ok but if you have any medical conditions be prepared for to deal with adam he will putn you threw the ringer and find ways to fail you and send you home I know from experience I think its away to weed the older guys out or the not so perfect health and forget blood pressure or sleep apnea you are a sitting duck there adam is a ####### to get a physical just my experience take or leave it just giving fair warning to newbies and drivers with experience BEWARE

I'm starting orientation monday morning with weatern express. I would love it if somebody who drives for western express can tell me how the home time is cuz I have a pregnant wife and 18 month old son I am leaving at home to do this job. My recruiter, Prestin told me I am in there system as a regional flatbed driver and I will be home every weekend after my 30 days with a trainer. They also told me for that thirty days I can not come home. I have to stay in the truck on the road. Can I believe any of this? Once I get my own truck will I be home every weekend?

best of luck (you'll need it at WE)drver60021 Thanks this. -
According to your profile you have 0 to 1 year in the industry. Going with a trainer so I am thinking "0".
While with a trainer you most likely not going to see the house at all. So I wouldn't expect it.
I have talked with Preston in the past, very recently to as he has been actively trying to get me to leave my company to go over there for going on a year now. Remember he is a recruiter. They will tell you anything to get you into orientation.
Also, you can bet that they don't have any "regional"
As he stated that every truck does 48 states.
Take heed, especially with pregnant wife at home and 18 month at home.
Read the threads here. It's imperative to to so before you even think about jumping into the WE orientation.
Even once you get your truck you might see home every 2-3 weeks for 34 hours.
You gotta be sure about what this job entails before you blindly jump in.
Based on your home circumstance I wouldn't recomended it for you at this time (wife and baby need you at home or you need be there)
It just wouldn't work for you I don't think.
I don't want to be the black shadow, but I was in your shoes once years ago, preggo wife and baby at home. It was hard.
Good luck in whatever you decide.
