Kinda' a bad time to have an issue....breakdown was always under-staffed, but on the weekend it's even worse. They need to give them the boss' home and cell number so when there is an emergency, they can wake him up...bet if it was a reefer unit problem and they were about to pay for an entire load, the service guy wouldn't have spent 1 minute on hold.

Any time I've had to call/message road service it's been hard to get through. Fortunately dosen't come up that often (insert sound of knuckles knocking on wood here).

situations like that makes one wish for the good ole' days when trucks were lite enough to carry the spare on the back.

I didn't have a cb in my truck for the last 8 years I drove. I didn't miss it. Nice and peaceful in my truck. Saved me from hearing the opinions of many idiots. Usually wouldn't get timely information on the cb because there were too many people yacking. Didn't miss that cb at all.

It was easy getting thru to breakdown this morning, maybe 15 minutes. But I want to make sure they pay me back for this hotel.

with this being day 4 of my stay here, I am so glad I'm at a nice place, instead of the cheaper, older motels around here, and having a fridge is great, beats using ice and the sink.
Then after I get the truck back, I'm due my hometime.

I got through to breakdown quick this morning also. Got my tire changed by daylight. Knocked down the 655 miles to my Consignee which was a drop. Yay. Camped at the Allentown Service Plaza on 476.

Anyone ever have coolant issues with a Pro star? I've had to add a gallon week for a while. Just had a hose leak so I'm in the shop for a bit...
