I think the best advice if you decide to stay with Werner is to call placement and see about getting on a dedicated run. Not all of the dedicated runs req the driver to unload. And I would bet they put you in a different trk, based on they need their dedicated drivers running. I am a rookie driver myself with less time than you, and I am supposed to be switching my trk out this month and I just got assigned my current trk that's how rookie I am. But I'm on a dedicated run. Hope things work out.

No. It was a starvation/tuition contract.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I've got a lot to think about and some phone calls to make tomorrow.

Everyone is bringing up "get on a dedicated account". As much as I agree,, that isn't and hasn't been the OP's problem.
He says he's getting the miles (apparently consistently) since he's been hired, but his TRUCK is always in the shop.
A dedicated won't do him any good if Werner consistently keeps him sidelined, with a problem-child truck in the shop.

I know this sounds crazy coming from me...but Crete is a huge step up from what you have now, even if you have to run with a trainer for a short period of time. Like Tucker said, they pay their trainee's better than most. I worked for Crete for almost 10 years. I left because I dislike micromanaging and 62 mph trucks...but this is after I had been an O/O for a while, so my tolerances for being a company driver were low...they're not that bad of a company, especially for newer drivers getting experience... (any of my current and former Creten friends here on the forum are probably shocked by my recommendation of Crete I know)...but they are waaaaaay better than Weiner.
