Volvo Stereo Locked. Any Ideas?

When I started the engine today of my Volvo, the stereo wouldn't work, and the display reads Locked. Does anybody know how to unlock it and get it back to normal? Thank you.

 

Thank you. The display now is asking for the code. I'll try to get the radio out and look for the code on the unit. What a pain.

 

I couldn't find the code on the radio, so I will call Volvo tomorrow and get it from them. Joy.

 

The code is a 4 digit code, I guess I could try the last 4 of the vin

 

This truck has something wrong with the electronics in the steering column. Sometimes the windows won't go down. Sometimes the stereo won't have volume. Sometimes the cruise won't work at all. The way I get all of these issues to work, is to turn the engine off, and then turn the key back and forth a few times, then start the engine, and go. This is the first time the stereo has done this lockout thing.

 

Well the last 4 of the vin did not work.
