Yes. Current truck has that too. Love my automatic. Except when the speed sennor or starter goes out cause then you are dead in the water where you wouldn't be with a manual. So other than those times that come around once every 4 or 5 years I love them

Do do you still have to go back to the TWIC office to pickup card when it comes in? Or do they send it to you now. I know when I got mine 6 yrs ago you had to go pick it up when it came in

    1. speed limiter rules apply to only Ontario and Quebec

    2. speed limiter can be set to 65 (or lower)

    3. US nationwide speed limtier rule waiting to be announced soon, should be interesting since speed limit to be set is the best kept (only?) secret in the US Gov't at this time.

Cards can be mailed now, one of the few good changes since the vendor has changed.

    http://www.tsa.gov/stakeholders/transportation-worker-identification-credential-twicR

    2) NEW! Reporting Non-Receipt of Mailed TWICs: TWIC applicants who request to receive their TWIC card by mail will receive a phone or email notification that the card has been mailed. After notification that the card has been mailed, applicants have 60 days to report non-receipt of the card by contacting the Universal Enrollment Services (UES) Call Center at: (855) 347-8371. Failure to report non-receipt of the card within 60 days will result in a $60 fee to replace the lost card.

Time will tell if it's really success or a really bad idea.

How does that work for card activation, they scan 1 finger and enter a password so what's the point of getting it at home if I still gotta drive 55mi to have it activated

I was wondering the same thing. Have a friend that just applied for his card and it is supposed to be mailed. I'll try to get an answer from him when he received the card.

Anyone going to be in Louisville tomorrow? Looks like I may be able to get there in time for lunch with my coordinator.
