(SIZE=7] probably right just looking tryingto make up my mind on whether to lease or not it's a hard decision for me currently I have a flatbed and reefer with my own authority and looking at simplifying things. is the flatbed average somewhere in the $1.65 range.

Bout a month ago I seen a mercer driver with a reefer. It was a Freightliner classic. I wanted ask him if he was leasing with mercer and just using the trailer for van loads or if was a former contractor or whatever. I was curious but I didn't get to catch him.

I seen a Mercer red 379 Pete in Laramie WY going into the petro pulling a 48 spread reefer...not the best for van freight.I would just run flatbed.

I am probably not the one to answer this question have only been with Mercer since th beginning of February and still in the learning curve but I will give you my number straight

All of the miles on my truck I have made a $1.55 a mile on all miles since I've started that is with out the $3000 late model truck bonus if I include that it comes to a $1.70 keep in mind that's all deadhead and trips home

I live in Idaho so going west is necessary but can limit it, I guess it's a jump in and see how it really is for me... I'm not worried about surviving but running non stop to make a buck. Been there done that.

why? llc wont protect a one truck operator. sole proprietor will work just as well for a one truck man

you didn't look in all the right places. plenty of loads over 2.00 a mile , well over 250 miles.
