Just booked another load I'll be delivering in Georgetown Wednesday. If I got time I might come by the yard. Anyone up for a trash can lid at famous Dave's?

Ok. Make sure your truck and trailer are in tip top condition. Louisville inspections are rough.

Thorough inspections are good with me, keeps me out of trouble on the road. My truck is a 15, my trailer a 13, so I don't think they'll find much to be concerned about, but if they do I'll sure get it up to their standards.

Well my ac composer is out. Was told about $1200 to fix it... I decided not to fix it. I got other stuff that's more important right now then my ac.

On the ac compressor is a tag. Write it all down and call fleetpride you should also change the dryer while you got the system open, plus the orings on the lines where they go into the compressor and dryer. A vacuum pump and gauges will be less than a hundred bucks. Another fifty for Freon and oil charge. This is a stupid easy fix, no reason to not do it yourself and save 600 or more. If you lived near me I'd say bring it over and we would do it while my wife made dinner. Two hours tops and most of that is sitting twiddling your thumbs while it vacuums down

Edit to add: fleet pride is a good source of decent quality parts. think of them as a couple step above how AutoZone is for cars. aftermarket, but not the cheap crap chinese knockoffs you get at the many online parts houses,
