Crossfires are fine while they work properly. I've had one that the indicator went bad on. Long term problem is that they will leak where the hose goes into the body. Vibration will wear out the two o-rings that seal the joint. I will replace them eventually with the Cat Eye ones, the hose screws into the body with a pipe thread that will seal tightly and not loosen and leak over time. Otherwise they are great as far as keeping both tires equally inflated. Tires will last longer and wear evenly that way. They have paid for themselves in extended tire life most definitely.

Last week VA was not only ticketing truck parked on ramps as they usually do, but doing inspections on them also. I watch drivers take the exit and park for the night on a ramp when there is a truck stop right there with 90% of parking obviously available. Just like those who pull in and park right at the curb or the entrance, some are just too lazy to do things right.

Five it another month pulling that flat, then you will see it's easy to account for shippers and receivers. With rare exception does it ever take more than an hour to load or unload a flat.

Seen a new Mercer driver pissing in the driver's lounge lot. Then got his map book out and ask another driver for directions it looked like.. that lot had a bad smell anyway with the wind.

This is my only issue with Mercer. They have lowered their standards in their attempt to grow. A couple years ago that driver would have been fired with in minutes, no warnings. Just gone.
