I used to run team for five years with a lady friend. She said it's like living together in a bathroom, no where to go sit when you need time by yourself. But there was a lot of fun to be had when ever you get some down time in places you've never been.

There is a section called the ladies room ( I think) . Has more gender related advice , ie handling nature in middle of no where ( or worse middle of town and no place to go ). Just one thing , that has to be planed on before it happens.

My wife runs with me a lot. My advice to you is to take some things on the road with you to keep yourself occupied during the long hours of running. Something that you can do while the truck is bouncing down the road like maybe some crocheting or knitting or something else that will keep you from going stir crazy from boredom. My wife handles the business end of things for me, dispatching, billing, customer relations, book keeping and files but even with all of that she gets bored during the day and has to find something to keep her occupied while I am busy getting the loads run and making the miles go by. After you are out a for a while you will see what I mean. Women's issues on the road are unique and I would suggest the ladies forum and some facebook groups like truckers wives and maybe cooking on the truck. Above all, personal security is of the utmost importance on the road, learn it, love it, live it. Have fun out there but keep it safe and enjoy this great and dynamic industry.
